As If I Don't Have Enough To Do
In my infinite wisdom, on top of working two jobs, maintaining two author websites, writing two books, and a full-time class schedule, I have decided that I have too much free time. So, naturally, I have decided I want to learn Russian. Why Russian? Because with all the languages I speak, none use Cyrillic, and Russian seems to have more resources available for learning. As tempting as it is for me to dive headfirst into something more obscure, if learning Icelandic taught m

An Alter Ego is Born
As thoughts of the spicy book took over my life, and I found myself dedicating more time to it than I was to editing Anais Ascendant, (I KNOW I AM SORRY) I came to two realizations. New Horizons
I have been working on something new. I am still plugging away at Anais Ascendent, but I find that this new project is dominating the majority of my creative headspace. There are several problems with this. First and foremost, I have been promising the sequel to Anais Eternal for five years, and my failure to deliver to date has been a point of contention. It is still coming, I promise! The writing is mostly done; I am just working it over before it goes off to the editor. Ad

One More Time With Feeling
Ok, this is not the first time that I have attempted a blog or a newsletter, but to be completely transparent I am really bad at this kind of thing. I struggle to produce content on any kind of timeline. Much to the chagrin of my lovely readers who have now been waiting five years for the second Anais book. It's coming folks I promise! All of that aside, though I am terrible with creative deadlines, and a notorious flake, I am also a hopeless optimist. So here I am trying aga
